Maybe 7 or 8 years ago i purchased a used snowblower for my Dad to use on our Cockshutt 1600 we owned. The first winter he took the rear PTO out of the 1600. We fixed the Cockshutt's PTO, and my Parents started going to Florida for the winters. The blower just sat in the woods for years.
I was at my Dads pulling out unwanted shrubs with the 766 today, and i decided to dig it out of the woods and take it home for storage. I though it looked similar to the IH blowers i'd seen on the classifieds. After locating the serial tag and a hour in reducer I could read that its a #80 blower made in Canada.
My friend and I stripped it for sand blasting this afternoon. It has about 4 or 5 layers of paint on it and most are peeling off. Should blast off easy. Here are a few pics. Kent
