hello am new to the IH board but would like your opinion, I have a long time friend who runs and loves IH equipment from the 50's-70's, I found a beatup tool box lid from a IH binder and have tried to make it like the decal on the pitman on my IH binder, he will just hang this on his shop wall, my question is do you think he will like it this way or should I paint it in a different theme, it needs some more touching up I know but what do you boys think?? thanks cnt tom

Looks good from here! I had one just like it painted up when I was a kid, hanging on the shop wall. I lost it when the building burned in 1983.

I hung a Deere weight on front of my SM once during a tractor pull, didn't work out very well as I could here 1/2 of the cylinder cut out! Only wanted to run on 2
 
thanks for all of your support on this but I see the IH symbol has black with red should I make this that way or leave as is cnt tom
 
Do as you please -- the IH in the picture below is a newer version. Supposed to be a man sitting on a tractor, the dot at the top is the head, the I the man, and the sides of the H the wheels -- not so with yours. I believe, but cannot prove that the IHC symbol was all the same color. Most were white on a black surface as in gauges, etc.
