I see there are a couple small pipe plugs in the junction block between the hydraulic lines and the Touch Control block. Can I add remote hydraulics buy just plumbing in a control valve ?

Thanks

Greg

If it is a true remote adapter yes. If it is in the flange fitting I think it is not going to work. There are remote blocks for touch control systems available several places including Ebay. Jim

Although I don't own a SC, I believe the plugs are test ports. Do as Jim says and get the adaptor plate from eBay. Around $40 as a complete kit with gasket and bolts. Should have instructions with it too. Steiners and OEM probably have it as well.

Tapping off the plugs won't work right.

The Super C has an open center hydraulic system, which needs a single path through the system to work properly. Connecting a valve to those ports adds a second path to the system, so when you try to run the arms, the oil will all flow through the valve circuit, and when you try to run the valve, the oil will flow through the arm circuit. Either way, nothing will happen.

You need the bypass block to make it work right.

I added an additional valve on my Farmall C in order to operate my two row corn planter that had hydraulics. I filled the fertilizer boxes with fertilizer and the hydraulics couldn't lift the planter. It was worthless.
