hey folks there is a 49 farmall c here on craigslist in pensacola fla.wants 150.00 obo allthere but no sheet metal and motor stuck from sitting ,look it up has a pic and phone #

That doesn't sound right. He can easily get 2-3 times that at the scrapyard. That add is probably a scam of some sort. The only reason I can think of for selling a tractor that cheap is if the C had a lot of sentimental value, and the seller didn't want it to be scrapped. I seriously doubt that is the case, however, but if the offer is legitimate, then it is a great buy.

buy it,buy it fast, like SF said its worth way more that that as scrap or parted out.

Not a scam. Bought it and brought it home yesterday. Didn't want to see it scrapped and would not sell it to anyone that even mentioned scrap. Wanted to sell to someone who would restore or use parts to use on another C. Thanks for the heads up as it was about 3 hours from my place. Have a great day.
