Adjusting the brakes

[size=18:9cdef23baf]On my 1955 IHC 300 can someone please tell me how do you adjust the brakes on this? They never were great, but today they were really bad. I have included a photo of the park brake rod. On the far left of the photo is a round thing that the right foot brake goes to. Is that the Drum? If so, how do I adjust the Brakes?[/size:9cdef23baf]

at the drum there will be a threaded rod coming out of a rubber boot. tighten the nut as required and set both sides the same. if the nuts are screwed in all the way,
means you need a brake job.
those pics show nothing about your brakes, or where to adjust. that rod is just to lock the brakes on by stepping on brakes and pulling up on rod.

The nut with the rubber boot comes out of that round piece at the far left, so is that where the pads are?[/b:914ec098d6] :?:

Does anybody have a pdf file on this tractor that I can download from you, or know where I can get one?
