head gasket Super A

Hey Guys,

Noticed on the head gasket for my Super "A" I received it says to apply sealer. I have installed quite a few over the years but never applied anything to them. Is this a special material that requires sealing? If so, what kind?

'Copper Coat' its made by Permatex and other manufactures as well. Its available at any auto parts store around $7-10 a can.

i use permatex hi-tac spray on them.
