fan assy for l951 super C

I am interested in puting the new version fan assy on my SC rather than rebuilding the original. What are the problems?

nothing, have done 2 A's, a Cub, and a Super C. The one on the Super C is personally mine and i have over 5 years and 200+ hours on it and still tight.

Mine hit the water pump with two blades, a little twist on the blades with a Crescent Wrench and all is well.

what is "the new version fan assy"
I recently changed my water pump and put the old fan back on. Am I missing something??

The old ones wear out, bushings, and seals let go resulting in sloppy fan shaft, end result is seizing up. The new ones are sealed bearing, no oil, just run it.
