Farmall A head to Super A swap

Is there any reason the head from an A won't work on a Super A? The Super A does not have a water pump.Thanks,

Compression ratio may be different, depending on which heads are in the mix. But they should interchange with no problem.

Yes it will work depending on the year of the SA the combustion chamber can be a tad smaller for a little more compression otherwise they can be used with good results.

Make sure you don't get the gasket for an engine with a water pump on it, they have smaller water passage holes.
