Ok, tractor vet was spot on, it I lost a seal or what ever on the injector. Goes piff, piff, piff and I can see it coming from down where the injector is in the engine. So, how hard of a fix is this? I am gonna read the IT manual on it right now, but am wondering if any one has any caution advice or isnt too bad advice. Tractor is a few miles away so I am hoping I can do it in the feild.

Dave you need to drain the water because if the brase sleves comes with the injector the water goes into engine.

Not a big deal remove lines remove nuts -bolts and i have two small LADY's foot type pry bars that were made for pulling injectors. Now what would be a huge plus is a injector BORE BRUSH to clean out the bore and a dental pick to get the old seal out if it is not stuck on the bottom of the injector . Clean up the bore nice and shinny and install the seal coat the injector with some never seize and reinstall it and tighten it up in sorta a walking way , in other word tighten each nut with a inch pound torque wrench a little at a time as per what the spec.'s say . I do not have my book wright here with me as it is out in the truck and i am being lazy this morning with coffee cup in hand and slipper on and it is pouring down rain and i ain't ah going out till i have to .

what i did to get the old injectors out of the 1 806 last year was to pull the 2 hold down bolts, then thread in 2 longer ones with nuts under the injector "ears." that way i could back out on the nut while holding the bolt still and "pull" the injector in a controlled manner.
