M points gab or Dwell Setting

I had my M distributor cap off today and moved the points. I started it up and it sounds way different. I am sure I have changed the gap. Can some one tell me what the dwell should be so I can get them set right.

Thanks mine has a distributor. I was hoping some one would know what the dwell was, as I have much better luck setting the points by that method as opposed to feeler gages.

A v8 is set at 30. Anything over 30 will give full coil saturation at the speed it runs.
