Farmall 140 Touch Control Won't Lift

I have a disc hooked up to the 140 right now. When I flip the lever to lift it, the rockshaft moves slightly and the engine stays under load. The disc is never lifted more than an inch or two. The lift worked fine with the disc on Friday. There is no problem with the front lift; only the rear lift will not work. Currently there is a leak underneath to hydraulic reservoir, and I am planning to get that fixed.
Does anybody have any idea as to what could be causing this malfunction? SF
 
I would check the oil level in the reservoir as you may be low from the leaking. I would install a gauge and see what your pressure is. Your manual should have the pressure. I see on the Cub, C, Super A and Super C should be around 1100-to 1500 psi. Hal
 
Well, I feel sheepish. You see, I parked the tractor on a concrete pad that is about 6 inches above the ground. With the disc resting on the ground, there was apparently too much downforce to allow the tractor too lift it up. After backing the tractor off the pad and onto a level surface, the disc was raised easily.
