460 Fuel Sending Unit

I have a 460 row crop and am trying to find a fuel level sending unit that attaches in the fuel tank. Have tried Case I/H and a couple of aftermarket companies with no luck. Also,is this the same as on a 560?

You mean original equipment type gauge , right. Same as 560, don't know why you can't find one at CASEIH. The sending unit has to match the gauge as one mfg uses a sending unit with increased resistance when reading full, and the other is decreased resistance when full. Hook sender up to gauge before installing, provide a good ground also and check your readings to see if it is correct. I just put in gauge and senders on 460 and a 656 and they were opposites of each other. In fact, I used the old sender out of the 656( that some one had Jury rigged for a seperately mounted gauge) and put it in the 460. The 460 shows full with key off, 656 shows empty with key off. Both read correctly for position of sender.
