Farmall H Engine Rebuild Shop in Indiana?

I was finally able to get my Grandpa"s 1944 Farmall H. I am looking for somewhere in Indianapolis or anywhere in Indiana that could help me with rebuilding the engine. I am not mechanically inclined enough to take it on myself. Any help with places in Indiana with antique tractors parts and mechanical work would be greatly appreciated.

It may not need rebuilding, a reputable shop should be able to help you with this.

Find your nearest local antique tractor club and you will probably find someone who could help yo out.

Give Dwayne a call, he is located near Franklin Indiana and has been restoring IH tractors for several years. He goes to many of the shows in your area selling parts, his website has his schedule and contains a lot of info. I can personally recommend his work.

Thanks for all the help guys. I will check out all of your advice. The one in Franklin seems like a great option. That is only about 35 minutes from my house. I look forward to embarking on this journey. I can still remember riding on the back of this tractor as a very young child. I also remember driving it to cut, rake and bail hay. Almost brings a tear to my eye just thinking about my grandpa. He was a great man and I can not think of a better way to pass on his heritage. This project will be in honor of him.
