Where does a fella even begin looking. Would like to plant sweet corn with a cub lo-boy. Do most people make their own planter for the fast hitch cubs?

There are factory Fast Hitch planters for the Cub and Cub Loboy. IH has a version based on their 184 (IIRC) planter unit, and Cole also has a version.
They are either rare, or people hang on to them. I've seen a few and when they do come up for sale they generally bring a high price.
What you need to do is find a self-contained planter unit, and fasten a Fast Hitch spike to it. I happened to come across someone parting out an old Allis Chalmers 4-row planter, and he sold me a unit off it for a reasonable amount.
When selecting the unit, look for one with a chain running from the rear pack wheel to the seed box drive.
