your rite , i was pacific. the 3 rib tires are 4.00-15 now if i order the original tire that the tractor came with,is that the size i order, or do i need new rims? the rims measure 16" across. thanks.

Probably. Rims are measured inside the lip where the bead sits. NOT the total diameter. Rim width is measured inside that lip.

There were no 16in rims on the A the original size is 3x15. Which style do you have the three loop ones or the smooth ones that use clamps to fasten to the hub. Also the hubs are different when they use the loop rim and the clamp rim has no loops. Both sizes are 3x15.
