h farmall stuck

Whats your idea on how to unstick a h farmall tractor, I have diesel in the spark plug holes, put diesel in exhaust stack,used a crow bar on flywheel, no luck yet????? give me another idea, and I also unstuck 4 values.

I had a H once that was stuck i found some penertating oil called gibbsasize very good stuff and was a bit pricey i got this at a tractor show in north carolina,but it work great!!!.you may try to google it to find it.Best of luck to you.

I would use ATF and try to work it both ways. I soaked a SC for a year and finally pushed a hole through a piston getting it apart.(when I got to the rings they were bone dry)

You might consider installing a block heater, 500 watt or so and putting some Aero kroil made by Kano Laboratories in the spark plug hole and let it warm up over night, and it might come loose. It worked for me.

Sorry but have to say you started out from the get go bad and now you have other problems because now how do you get out what you put in. Me I use ATF and have done so for over a decade and few engines have not freed up for me and I so far am 20 freed up to 3 that did not. I would at this point try to maybe burn the diesel out by using a wick of some sort then fill with ATF and walk away. for say 2 month. I have a tractor that I know 100% sure was locked up for 15 year and it now runs and I have yet to pull the head and that head has not been off for over 30 years I know since it is a family tractor and I have 2 trophy's for it

50/50 mix of tranny fluid and turpentine. Works well. Remove the diesel fuel somehow, either by small propane torch in the plug hole or by shop towl.

Sounds like its time to pull the head and pan and tear it down as your mix did free it up so teardown time cause if its stuck that bad it needs a rebuild and no magic potion will renew the engine.

I agree with Gene !

To get the Pistons Free take the head off( you need a rebild anyway) and Heat Each Piston around the ring aera and let cool then do it over!

Heating the piston Expands and let them Cool Contract and your rings will be Free to turn over!

This prosess takes less than 1/2 Hour to get them Broke Loose!

This is the only thing thats worked for Me when they where Stuck verry Hard!

Pistons Have Heat on them anyway and it Works!

I'm with Gene and Cliff as well. I would also like to add that diesel fuel certainly did not hurt you or your chances. It creeps like crazy and will free up things pretty well. What makes ATF so much better!?!
