Replacing 239 with 282 in a Hough 30

Hi, I have a Hough 30 with a D236 Diesel that I need to replace. My question is will a D282 out of a 560,660,656 or 706 fit? I looked at a few and they look very similar but just wondering if anyone knew for sure. THe 236 was always underpowered and the 282 is a better engine I believe

i think the bellhousing and the clutch was bigger on the 282. i have a running 236 out a 460 for sale if interested. i am in south carolina email is open if interested

Should bolt right in. Both engine use the same block. The only real difference is the stroke on the crankshaft and pistons to match the stroke.
