Is there an aftermarket supplier for the sawtooth throttle piece? This site and IH gets around $70.00 for the assembly which I think includes the throttle lever.
 
OEM Tractor parts, Steiner and others. OEM probably makes all of the aftermarket ones. I did not know that CaseIH still had them.
 
I just bought the throttle handle for our H the other day, fits perfect ($19.00) My only gripe is that they come only in red. I was look for a rust colored handle to match the tractor.
 
For the C they come as an assembly from Stieners or OEM. And with shipping will cost close to $70.00. I will have to do a little welding & grinding and filing.
 
I was thinking of replacing the one on my super C too. I didn't think it would cost that much. I guess I'll have to work on the old one a little more.

Look on the bright side. It is pricey, but you need buy it only once.
 
I fixed mine by filing/dressing up the saw teeth and putting a another washer on the pivot to tighten the spring thottle handle. May also have to file/dressup the tooth on the throttle. No problems, been fine for 6 years. All of 30 minutes time to repair.
