Do you have a mounting bracket on the platform?

The light I bought off ebay has a bracket. There is a 3/8 or so hole in the left rear of the platform. I assume that's were it mounts. I just couldn't find any pictures showing one there. Thanks for the help.

The bracket installs with one of the bolts that holds the cover onto the rear end housing.

I wish I had better picture of the light for you. My H is a '49, as well. The rear light bracket has a spacer under it that goes in the recessed bolt hole. You should be able to use washers to bring the light bracket up if yours didn't come with one.
