super c hydraulics

The hydraulics quit working on my super c abruptly, I had the pump off and the key is not sheared. when I took a line off from the fast hitch valve and run the valve there is a low volume of fluid that seems to have a lot of air in it. I am thinking a pressure relief stuck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes there can be air in the system make sure the filter is clean and level is ok then work both levers back and forth to get the air worked out unless the sealis shot on the pump and the fluid is going into the crankase.

This is a dumb suggestion, but--did a clevis pin drop out of the actuating lever/ rod?

Thereis a possibility that the suction line is cracked, or an Oring is leaking sucking air. Pressurizing the reservoir can assist in priming the system, and finding a suction leak. Jim here responding from 35,000' over Alan in NE's house on the way to phoenix AZ. Jim
