It was a LONG time ago...

It was about 1970.

I was in my early 'teens.

We had an IH dealer in my hometown. (Kaufman Brothers Implement, Bisbee, North Dakota)

They handed out 10-cent "Farm Shop Ideas" booklets for FREE.

"State of the art" farm shops were a LOT smaller than today!

Wheelbarrows were old-fashioned looking and belts unshielded!

"Burrs" were SQUARE...

And, apparently, woodbits were left-handed!

Anybody else got one of these lying around? I wonder how many years they were printed... I canted find ANY date or copyright ANYWHERE on the booklet.

Thanks for sharing, this is really neat.

I haven't heard the word burr for many years, as that is what the landlord called any kind of metal nut when I was a little boy. He also called batteries: bat-trees.

Well my shop with the big blue ceiling is too big, I'd love to have a little 32x32 :)

neat piece of paper
