Busted block on 140 Farmall

Wondering what it would cost to find another like tractor for parts, etc to fix my father's old tractor. Please contact me if you know where an old 140 may be sitting for sale.
 
Someone on here may have a spare block. The Super C 354898R1 block may also fit. The late Super A's may have used this block. Hal
 
Where are you located Jimmy? We have around 18 of these tractors. Parts and running machines. I am ALWAYS running across some for sale too.

That would be great....the tractor places around here are outrageous with their parts and labor. I'm at their mercy, because I can't do the work myself.

You might try some place like nnalert they sell rebuilt engine block both short and long blocks. They are not cheap but hey they are basically new engines
 
The 200 series tractors used the same block and you can increase the cid to 133 with an overbore kit. You can also buy your kits from this forum. Hal
 
The 140/240 version of that engine had some substantial changes from the earlier versions (cooling system). You don't want to cross between those versions if you can avoid it.
