propane carb for a farmall a b bn

does anyone know who or where you can get a propane carborator or propane mixer for a farmall a b bn [113] cid. has anyone had a b on propane or converted one or had one? any information would be extreamlly apprecated. thanks Hal

I know a guy that had a C that was on propane but I am not sure if he still has the parts. I will see if I have his number still.

I would think one of the ones intended for a forklift would be in the right size range. Google Impco and see what kind of current stuff they have then google the model number to look for dealers or check fleabay.

I have an A running on LP. It has a regular Impco Jr. 100 carb. I've seen a few of these on e-bay. You may have to go to a forklift dealer type to get exactly what you need. Your challenge will be getting hot water through a vaporizer. I run my so seldom and short periods of time, I just run vapor and the vaporizer is used only as a regulator actually. Mean to say, you can run vapor but liquid is preferred and I haven't figured out to get hot coolant through the vaporizer, lack of access to the cooling system and no water pump.

I have already talked to the boys from Clark and Yale, and the ones I talked to are a bunch of effen idiots. OEM only. A damned door knob will give you more information than those guys can. Thanks anyhow

I did find this which might be of some use to you.

do a copy and paste in your browser

they have a air warmed coil vaporizer which does not require coolant to run thru it. you are to mount it up by the radiator and the fan and the warm air is to work instead. Might be of some help.
