Farmall Cub Power Lift

Howdy, ive got a farmall cub I just got running about a week ago. I put a blade on it but I dont have a power lift setup for it. Im wondering if I can adapt a setup if I find a complete one, and if it would be a direct bolt-on. Im just making sure that there isnt a special provision in the block or something that wouldnt enable me to install the lift setup on a tractor that didnt originally come with it.

I dont know what year it is, but it isnt an international or a lowboy. If it helps, here is a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRE-AMQmKAU

Thanks
Chris

Looks like you probably have a '47 tractor. You can look up the serial number. A complete Touch-Control system will bolt right on with no modifications.

Did the Cubs come from the factory with the place in the block to mount a hydraulic pump even if they were a "Hand Lift"?? What about the place on the torque tube to mount the touch control block??

Yes and yes.

The pump, manifold, lift, and controls are on eBay all the time. It may take four auctions before you get a complete system. You can also buy a by-pass block that will send two-way power to a remote valve for operating a double acting cylinder. Goto CaseIH on-line parts book to see what you need.

Can I have the lift and the bypass valve for a remote at the same time, or is it just one or the other?

I will check out the serial number

Thanks for all the help
