Farmall m and jd 7000

NOPE not with 950 lbs pressure unless ya put about and 8 inch lift cylinder on the planter then you will run out of oil before the planter lifts. John Deers run higher pressure on there hyd . systems. My friends John Deere 720 D will not lift a 4 row 7000 Notill loaded with fert. as it is and old low pressure system also . As he had this bright idea that we were going to use this the 720 to plant with last year to save fuel . I tired to tell him that it would not lift it . But he just had to try . Lot of messing around till he got it thru his head that old low pressure systems will not lift heavy newer equipment.

(quoted from post at 20:15:30 04/25/11) Anybody know if the lift all pump on a farmall m will lift a 4 row no till jd 7000 planter?

I planted quite a few acres using a fully loaded (fertilizer, insecticide, etc.) John Deere 495 behind a 1949 Farmall H. It was slow going in first gear only, but the belly pump had no trouble lifting that planter.

Lot of difference between a 494-1240 56-400 planters . When ya get into the NO tills They is a whole bunch heavier . That ft bar is NOT box tubing it is solid bar and they hold more fert. more seed . My 806 with the stock 1750 pressure relief will raise it a lot slower then the 706 with the 2000 lb relief does.

I don't know, but I'd say with fertilizer you might have a problem, without you should be fine.
