need a carb part

I need this part for a 52499D / 9167 carb for a 1940 B model. Does not come in any kit I can find.
Please e-mail if you have an extra you will part with for $$.

I may have one of those out in the shop. I just took one A and 2 Bs and made a BA and have a couple carbs. But the last time I did that to one I found that the Case/IH dealer had them but they are not cheap by any means
 
Zenith carb, right?

For serial numbers before mid-1941, parts catalog shows part #53780D. (NLA from FIAT.)

I checked with a guy who MAY have one. I will post back when he gets back to me.
 
I have not located one yet. I guess you recognized the part----what do you call it? Anyway, I need one for sure.

I don't know why that part is not included in a rebuild kit. A rebuld kit for an H includes it, as well as the kit for the M, but they're not interchangeable.

Incidently, that part for an H or M is called the "main metering stem". You've got me curious now. I might have to go digging through some potential sources and see what I can come up with.
 
I checked both the basic kits and the "comprehensive" kits, not there. It is a Zenith 52499D/9167 carb. I don"t know how somebody broke it in two and then was able to get it out but they did. When I was handed the carb the stem was tied onto it with a wire.
