Farmall C cultivators?

Just recently purchased a Farmall C, not a beauty queen but runs great, I"m stoked as there aren"t too many farmalls in my part of the world, I think it was a good buy. I was curious what cultivators would fit on there ie: from an A B or H, any help would be great. Also anyone know where I can get a complete set of mounted cultivators for this machine only hard part is I"m in Northern Canada, BC Thank You in advance

The cultivators are raised and lowered by linkage from the touch control unit. The H & M tractors did not have the center mounted touch control but used the lift-all, or later live hydraulics to control the cultivators. Additionally the C did not use the front mounted lift arms from the A & B tractors but lift
units which bolt to either side at the front of the tractor. Rear
assembly attached to the axle rather than bolting inside the final drive castings as on the A & B. Altogether the two systems are
very different.

There was a great assortment of tool bars, clamps, standards and tools for all the cultivators and some of these will interchange.

The C was generally a two row tractor although variations of
up to four rows could be had, even on a Cub.

Maybe someone would have some early manuels with pictures
because there were really a great variety of cultivators.

I have 2 sets of cultivators for a C. There are a lot of them around here. I was at a sale yesterday and there was a set there they went for scrap price like 20 dollars. To bad your so far away.

None of the above. You need cultivators for a C.

All you can do is look look look and look some more to find a set. There is no reliable source for such things.

You'll need the C-244 or the C-254 mounted cultivator. The C-244 (1948-49) has a touch control lift rod to the rear unit on both sides. The C-254 (1949-55) on the left only. I'll try and post pics I got from another YT member that shows both sets.

Has anyone ever seen the 452 4row veggie model here in the states or was it for export only. That pic was taken before the C even went into production.

I am posting a C-244 two row for the C later this evening. Now, I am posting it on Craigslist, Salina, KS. I know it does, as I took it off one that I will be posting for sale. I even have a magazine add for it, and I think, a manual. Will check in the a.m. and post back. Check with some of the NAFTA truckers that come through Salina, KS from all over Canada. They might pile it on somewhere! NOT SOLD for junk!

RE: now posting on Craigslist - get it later tonight as I have to get to grandson's track meet.
Sorry, really, I am.

Thank You Wayne, What are you asking for the cultivators and are they all complete ready to go on the tractor? What is the approximate weight of them, I could maybe check out Uship to try to get them up here, would you be able to put them on a pallet Thank You again
