The gas tank on my 300U is plugged with rust. Anyone out there have any ideas/suggestions as to how I can mount it on something so I can turn it with gravel inside to get the rust out. Thanks

Attach it to another tractor wheel and go in both directions for several hundred feet.

All you really need to do is flush it out with a garden hose and most of the detached rust will disappear. Do the flushing with the filler opening upside down.

Powerwash it out. Steam cleaner is better. I've powerwashed several. Use a hot water type, it helps with the drying. Then I set it with a work light against it for a few hours for heat and dry it thoroughly.

thanks for the info guys. I didn't even think about my pressure washer but if I hook it to my hot water heater it should do a fine job. Again thanks.
