Farmall 100 hydraulic pump rebuild

My Farmall 100 is leaking oil into the crankcase. I purchased o-rings and shaft seal from my Int"l dealer and a speedi-sleeve from a local bearing distributer. I"ve read in the archives that the housing needs to be enlarged if the shaft seal was an o-ring. Mine is a regular seal, but I can"t get the shaft through the bronze flange bushing in inside of the pump. Has anyone had this problem? From my parts book, it looks like a Thompson pump, but I"m not sure. If I enlarge the bronze bushing to provide clearance for the speedi-sleeve, it will be sloppy on the pump shaft behind the sleeve. this doesn"t sound right. What am I missing? thanks.

Like other post says install the sleeve after pump is assembled. Make sure the washer is bent so the gear cant come loose lots of shafts and gears have been ruined because of not locking the washer.

The flange of the speedi-sleeve wont clear the seal, but maybe I can install the seal after I assemble the pump and install the sleeve.
