Many years ago my dad had a loader on a Farmall M that was real basic. It had two vertical hydraulic rams that were placed near the front of the tractor. The loader lifted with cables and didn't go very high. Does any one know what brand it would have been? I knew it wasn't IH.

I believe it is a "Horndralic" manure loader. They were made for loadsing manure, they worked good.--lots better than a fork!

Aside from Horn, there was also a Seargeant loader, using the sape cable / cylinder setup.
These were yellow in color.

I have one of those loaders on my Farmall "H". I have a 7' snow plow that I adapted to slide over the frame arms and attach with just 2 pins. The bucket is just a trip bucket. I have 3 sets of weights and loaded tires with chains. Pushes snow really well.
