706 3pth leveling arm crank handle removal

I'm trying to replace the crank handles and I can't get the roll pin out of either one. I've used a roll pin punch (even with a air hammer) tried pressing it out with a c-clamp and socket but just wrecked the pin. I got mad then cut the pin off flush so i could stick a cotter pin in for now. I really need some better ideas. Thanks Steve

Drill out the pin with a size or two smaller drill bit, usea flat nosed puch the same size as the pin & drive out the remnants.
