When it quits snowing I'm gonna' pose my Farmall 460 in front of the camera lens. Good coffee, polka music on the radio out of Wausau plays in the background with a good signal this a.m. You can't get the signal, find it on the link below.

Enjoy your day folks.

I'm sitting in the house drinking coffee and watching it snow. Should be putting my lawnmower back together after rebuilding the engine this winter, but the 4 inches on snow onthe ground should keep the grass brown for another few weeks.

I'm getting antsy to start getting equipment ready for the field but this weather sure puts a damper on that.

Woke up this morning to a lot of strong wind and very obvious we had more rain last night. Temp was 37 F which might be a hot day for you up north but a very cold and damp one here. We've had days of well over 80 F earlier in the week so this is quite a change. Worked in the yard all last weekend with the wife getting her flower beds and other planting all in shape for summer along with cutting the grass mid week. Just too nasty to get excited about getting out yet today, Hal.

Made some old fashion iron skillet corn bread this am. with fresh coffee, honey and blueberries.
Cold and rainy here in sw mich. My buddy who moved to Ocala, Fl called to let me know it might snow here tomorrow. He loves to do that.
Seems to be more of those stubby, fuzzy, black with a red dot spiders around the house this spring. Anyone know if they bite or are poisonous. I think they are a black jumping spider.

Happy daze,
Dell

Garden City, KS--constant wind speeds between 40 and 50 mph for 12 hrs yesterday, gusts 60 or more for 5 hrs, top gust 66. Lived here since 1972, I have never seen gusts of 60+ except in thunderstorms, usually only for a few minutes -- nothing continuous like that.

We grow pick-ur-own or we-pick blueberries in SW MO. Just went out to check them, most are in full bloom, dropping lots of blossoms after the bumble-bees have finished. Might be a good crop.
You are right, cornbread pancakes, with buttermilk and bb's, sage sausage....

As Dell said, it's pretty gloomy where we are. It looks like a good day for indoor projects.

After thinking about it for 30 years or so, I'm finally going to replace my air compressor's regulator with a filter-lubricator-regulator unit. Then I'll upgrade the muffler on my 5kW generator so it isn't so $&#@ loud.

Wilton, Iowa---Just like Garden City had Thurs. & Yesterday with winds blowing strong & never let up. Wondered if anything would be left. With that strong of wind, the barometer was down to 29.40 when I went to bed & the low was still Southwest of us. Wouldn't be surprised if it got down to 29.25.
East winds are the worst--building sites aren't protected from East winds.
I could make the wind stop blowing. All I'd have to do is put up a wind generator & it would never blow again. My 8th grade teacher would have said I have a bad attitude about the wind--maybe so.

Central Louisiana. 68 to 70 degrees, 15 mph wind. Nice and balmy.

Bought 3 scoops of red chips & put them in the flowerbeds around the house. Wife says now her flowerbeds "pop"

I took the 1945 A out and used the belly blade to push the 8 inches of wet snow out of the driveway...it was a nice morning so I went and did most of the neighbor's driveways too.
