production McCormick 1020

I was wondering if anyone knows how many McCormick Deering 1020 orchards where made. i cant find any pics or production numbers on it. i have the fender skirts for it but it is missing a peice next to the belt pulley. i dont know if it has or should have a protection hood that covers the gas cap?

I dont have any numbers on production I do they are rare. I do not believe there is a cover over the gas cap.

The 10-20 and W-30 orchard tractors were made alongside the standard 10-20's and W-30's, there fore the serial number are all intermixed and no record was kept track of.

do you have pics of your 10-20?? there were 5 'variations' of 10-20 orchards through the years. some were equipped with belt pulleys, some had the provisions for them but no pulley, and some had no provisions at all.

as far as 'rare' i would say 10-20 orchards are hard to find, but not really rare. W-30's are much harder to find then 10-20's

Ive got a '29 10-20 orchard, and a '34 W-30 orchard. Both came from california, and the 10-20 has the disc wheels on it which is odd. I can help you get your 10-20 figured out if you like. email me at suprchkn996 at iowatelecom dot net

and before i forget, they didn have a cover over the radiator cap and gas cap like O-4's and O-6's had!
