Setting carb on H.

Need help setting the carb on H. Looks like there are 3 screws. One facing forward, one towards the back, and one facing out. Anyone be able to help me out? Thanks if you can.

The one facing out is the setting for idle speed. This will allow you to drop RPM without changing the mixture. The one facing forward (with spring under screw) is idle mixture. The one facing down and back is high speed mixture.

My manuals have a procedure, one then the other, but the settings to start with on a 1950 FBH are;
Idle speed (throttle stop screw) (facing out) 1 1/2 turns open.
Idle air adjusting screw (Facing forward, with spring) 1 to 1 1/2 turns open. (CW makes it richer.)
Main jet adjusting screw (facing down and back at angle) 2 1/2 to 3 turns open. (CCW makes it richer.)
But thats just to begin with initial. THERE'S a process of one then the other as the engine warms uip and the throttle is set. Ought to get a manual.
