F-20 Gold Pinstripe

I have a 39' F20 and would eventually like to restore it to as original as i can. I have the F series photo archive book and pratically ALL the F-20's,and some of the F-30's have a gold pinstripe on the bottom edges of the hood,and on the sides of the radiator. Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this? Were they hand painted or stenciled from the factory? I'm just curious...i think it would dress it up a little, and even better if its original!

They had em, hand painted with a pinstripe brush from the factory.

Did the all have them(the handpainted pinstripes)? Or just the ones that were going to be photographed?

I have found enough with visible stripes to convince me that at least some of them were sold new that way.

But on a side note I do not know that the color was gold.
