Where else to look for a Farmall MD part?

I am in dire need of a Governor Control Lever, 9 448 DAX for a 1951 Farmall MD. It's the part that holds the friction discs under spring pressure and part of the whole Governor Control assembly. On ours the intricate casting is broken. :( :cry: Even if I have to purchase the complete unit would be OK. I already checked with Steel Wheel Ranch and Bates Corp and both say no go. From what I have been informed, the 400 & 450 diesels did not use this setup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 

I looked it up in my parts catalog just so I could see a picture and it does look like somewhat of an oddball piece. I guess I don't have any real answers.
 
That Jim Johnson fellow in Miles, IA had a bunch of MD's around. His number is (563) 682-7796 and his cell is (563) 212-7432. I didn't have a lot of luck getting him to ship me a rear main seal retainer, but that was this winter. Maybe he is out of hibernation now. Good luck!

I might have what you need, have a 51 parts tractor pretty much complete I am going to part out as my MD needs a new home where it will fit in. Send an email if you still need parts.
