CenTex,

Don't think I have ever put a right angle gearbox on the belt pulley gearbox but I may have lost track. This is why I like IH. You can let your imagination run amok. Anyway, here are some ideas.

This is what you were probably thinking about. Right angle IH PTO adaptor attached to brake pinion.

Closer view. This is the power source for a FWA.

Thanks!

I appreciate you re-posting these. The Elwood FWA is interesting.

I had not thought of using a transfer shaft from the rear pto to create a front PTO. That could be made quite stable and with a telescoping center section could bolt onto either a plain M or MTA.

Then the PTO would be there for other applications; tree saw, minesweeping fail... Who knows!

Would work great on my wide front Super that will hopefully be finished soon.

I flew corp LR24D for awhile but most of my corp time was in Cessna 400 series. Then I did some low level blue jean work. Lyme tick cut my career short.

Glad to hear someone else say it was just a job. I never enjoyed hanging at airports or airshows.

I don't want to upset the OT cops so won't elaborate.

Sorry to hear that you medicaled out. We lose a lot of guys that way.

Year, you wouldn't know what I do for a living by going to my house. Some have the whole lifestyle though, airplane pajamas and all!
