New IH Knife bars?

I have some new knife bars which I think are IH; anyway, they won"t fit my Allis.
The overall length of the bar is 7"-3" with 28 knives. The knifehead is 13-3/4" long, 4" wide at the widest point and the ball is 1-3/8" in diameter.
There is a number on the knifehead; #3679 and the knives are typical IH style altho not labeled.
I would like to have these knifebars positively identified so I can correctly describe them when I try to sell them.
Thanks

Well sonny........we always called "em knives back on the farm......and I"ll bet there are a few more here that remember them that way as well. LOL
BTW......what"s your term for that part on the end of the bar with the ball that I called a knifehead?

Always called 'em sickles here too. Far as I know there's not really a name for those balls on the end, other than that they're what the pitman stick hooks to. To advertise, you'd want to specify that they're for a pitman-stick mower, since they won't work on the newer IH Balanced-Head mowers that use a pin to connect to the end of the sickle. Also be sure to specify the length since there were lots of different variations of sickle bar mowers.

Not sure here, but they may also work on different mowers than an IH...best to do some more reasearch. I know Kosh mowers used a pitman stick for alot of years after IH, but since we never had one I'm not sure if they use that style head on the sickles...

Oh shoot...I just answered the question I couldn't think of..."sickle head"...yep, thats what that ball thing's called.

Thanks for all your help guys!
I hope I don"t have to pack these up for shipping; that might be a bit of a challenge?
