Well, I bought what was called a cultivator to fit my 130. Doesn't look like it will work for me, but I'm greener than green when it come to tractors. What did I buy? Sorry if the pics aren't very good to tell from.

That will fit a C,SC and models later than them. What made you and the seller thing it would fit a 130. Get a manual for the 130 cult so when you think you have found one the manual will tell you the answers.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm new to tractors so have no idea what fits, but he was told by a friend with an "A" that it would work. I didn't pay much so I figured if they wouldn't work, I'd just resell or maybe trade for something that would. I'll look for a manual, that would be a big help :)

you bought a 2 row for c sc the cuffs & hiller blades will work on your 130 ,look for a set of cultivators of a super A,100,130,14O even though there will be some different shape arms and fertlizer hopper setups , these tractors used the same basic setup

Here in Maryland we used a Model 144 cultivator on Super A and 140 tractors. There a 2 basic designs, with a 1 point fasthitch brackets installed and without.
(The fasthitch bracket was to simplify switching from the plow to disk to New Holland 1 row tobacco planter-it doesnt attach to the cultivators)
There are some pics here on the site of 140s with one row cultivators, and if you email me I am willing to snail mail you a photocopy of the instructions we got back in 1978.

Member twfail has set up a Farmall 140 site. It has several pictures of 140s with different variations of the A-144 cultivator. Look them over to get a better idea of what you need.

You can also do a google image search for Farmall 140 and see a lot of pictures with cultivators.

If you didn't pay much for the C cultivators, you got more than your money's worth with the disk hillers. They will go right onto the 140's cultivators.

Thanks for the replies. I paid $200 for these. I thought it was pretty good since implements in general seem to be hard to find. I'm willing to go either way, selling/trading these for something that will fit, or taking what will work for me off, and sell the rest. Any advice?

I've tried PM'ing a few times and it says it's "under construction". Not sure if I need a certain amount of posts or if there really is a problem, but Jg20601, I'd like a copy for sure :)

Too bad you aren't closer to Southern Michigan, I have a set of Deluxe SA cultivators, complete, in the barn that I am looking to sell.

What number replaced the C series?

What do they go for in your area?

I won't take less than $350 for em

Wow! Is it even worth considering shipping? I have no idea how big the stuff is or how heavy. Do you have any pictures so I can see what the "right" stuff looks like :)

Good price they are getting too hard to find most have taken the shanks and holders off and now their whereabouts is inknown so to find a complete one is super. Just look on e-bay what the parts bring and also the tractors with the frame still there but no tooling. i sold one last summer guy said he had given up on finding one close to home.

Weight? Couple of hundred lbs. Would have to go on a pallet. Across International borders and through customs... Nothing I want to do. Local pick-up only. 49252

Were a few complete sets floating around ebay last year in excess of $600...

I'll look to see if I have a couple of acceptable photographs of my SA with cultivators on it.
