Hydro 86 Temp gauge cluster

Temp gauge flew the biscuit on our Hydro 86, fuel gauge still works. I like to keep everything original, cluster from the Dealer is 500 bucks! I see on OEM tractor parts website that they have the fuel, water gauge cluter but the hydro 86 isnt listed as one of the models its suppose to fit! It looks identical, and 1/4 the price, what would be the difference, the length of the temp probe lead??? the tractor has the 310D, any info would be greatfully apriciated

My 86 hydro has the 312 engine but I don't know why it would be any different than the 686 or 666 gear drive.

On the other hand if you buy a cheap imported "may-fit" You may wish you had bought from Case IH

Matt: Hows the hydro 86 working out for you? What did you have to do to the hydro to get it working? Thanks Kent with a 766 in Crapaud PEI.

Hey Kent, The trans was toast, Brian at Green Diamond rebuilt it, the 3 point was all to heck too, the bill was over 7000 to get her farm worthy again BUT! A very worth while investment, I LOVE THIS TRACTOR, I wouldnt trade her for the world, plus I would have to get 12000 to break even! A great addition to our fleet for sure!
