Farmall 560

When using the Independent Power Take Off (IPTO) the disconnect is connected. To reduce wear, and some noise, The disconnect is turned to stop the drive to the IPTO Jim
 
Never heard of a disconnect clutch. Is this common on all of 560's or is it where have I been.
 
I was first introduced to this feature on my SMTA tractor and didn't know why the PTO didn't work. The disconnect is on the bottom of the tractor and has to be changed by removing a bolt and moving the lever to the other position and reinstalling the bolt, Hal.

You can see the dog clutch at the top of the picture. I have added a split-shaft collar so that the "seasonal disconnect clutch" cannot disengage. I need to use a plain shifter cover and that is why the shaft collar.
