seeding chart IH Grain Drill

Could someone please copy and mail a seeding chart to me for what appears to be a model M grain drill to me. It has the cone gear with a sliding adjustable gear. Also it has cup covers that will fit either side and they are installed on the left side (looking from the rear) of the drill. It's a double disc in fairly good condition and need to use it soon. I'll be more than happy to pay for your time & postage. pwbrown 450 shinn farm road mooresville nc 28115

I believe Binder Books has a reprint of the Owner's Manual and presume the chart is in the manual. You can ask them to be sure.

Well I have $15.00 invested in a very good condition Owners Manual for the drill with no pages missing and it is the correct manual. However it has a lot of useless information and NO seeding chart. Some folks mention that there should be one inside the lid. There is not one inside the lid on my drill and no evidence that one was ever there. Guess that I'll just have to fill it up, take a WAG (wild a** guess) on setting and do a measured acre and adjust from there.

I don't think the old IH drills had a seeding chart. I have what I think is a Model M that my dad bought new around 1950. There is NO seeding chart under the lid. I still have the manual. If I remember, the seed adjustment plate/lever is stamped with Oats, Wheat, Barley, etc. Haven't used the drill since I got a 5100. It's sheded and could still be used. Will check on what I have tomorrow when I go to the farm. Will let you know if I find any kind of seeding chart. Al

I checked my drill today and it is a model M. I have the original owners manual, and like you said, no seeding chart. Only markings are on the seed adjustment lever which is marked for the various crops. If you are seeding oats, I can send you a picture of the position of the lever set for oats. My dad had it marked with a paint spot for oats and one for wheat. Send me an email and I will send you a couple of picutes. Al
