thrust bearing on h

I couldn't cross the Aetna A-1995 bearing on the H bolster with
anything online....does anyone know other #'s?

A direct replacement may not be available. I would work with a bearing (good) supplier to find a close heavy duty replacement, then shim, or machine an adapter to make it operate. Just me though. Someone may find a OEM answer. Jim

If you don't have it already, my info shows the IH part number to be 354676R91. I have an old IH bearing cross reference book. Most bearings in there show several supplier numbers, but this one only shows Aetna as the supplier.

Here are some more numbers that might work. Again the supplier was Aetna. These numbers show as alternates in my parts info for the upper bolster bearing. IH number 49659D is Aetna A1507. IH number 67911D is Aetna A1851.
Hope this helps! Your next choice is to take the old bearing and go to a bearing house like Motion Industries. They can measure it and get a bearing that will work.

Where are you located Haas? We have Motion Industries in Janesville. Are they all over or are you close?

As I recall, this whole search is for a "cheaper" replacement for the IH OEM bearing, rather than buying the bearing from the CaseIH dealer.

At some point, your time has got to be worth something. Spending countless hours calling hither and yon, and coming up empty.

I went through the same thing, finally ordered from CaseIH. The new bearing is marked
FM-MEX BR-39, I am guessing it is a Federal Mogul Mexico bearing. Still could not find that number either.
At $45 they have a steep markup. Neighbor needed some bearings for his drill, CaseIH wanted close to $80 so he ordered one, found that exact same bearing and number from Shoup and it was $29.

It is the same number or is it the same bearing!?! You must not have read the thing at the counter of the John Deere dealer? Actally I believe there is some truth to it. Just bc it crosses means it is the same size and specs, not always the same craftsmanship and quality of components.

Exact same bearing, manufacturer & number.
