I have a after market wratchet steering wheel for a Farmall. I have never saw one and I am not sure if I have all the parts and exactly how it fits on. If any one knows any thing about it please help me.

Just the idea scares me. It might be a wheel designed to operate a door or lift gate or? but to put a mechanical mechanism with a one way "ratchet" makes for too much turning to the right. Jim

Like this one?

Yes. I have all but the center piece. The rubber coating on mine is not in good shape. It also came with a factory piece of angle iron with a hole large enough for the wratchet handle to fit in and two smaller holes to secure it, but I am not sure where it goes.

The person that I bought it from told me that it was used when plowing to prevent one from breaking a arm.

Mine has the same company nane on it and is also stamped 112. Would you think about selling this item? I am in the process of fixing my Father's old H Farmall. Dad passed in 2008.

It is not a ratchet, it has springs in it. The springs are coiled around the steering shaft in such a manner that turning the wheel releases the tension allowing it to turn, once you stop turning the springs re-grip the shaft and lock it so the wheel cant spin and break your thumb. I believe there was someone on the cowboard had the original literature and parts diagram for these
