BN transmission oil

can any one tell me how much transmission oil a farmall BN takes? All I can fine in spec. sheets is "unknown"

It will take about 5 to 6 quarts.

The check plug is a small pipe plug on the lower left-hand side of the transmission, behind the left side brake rod.

The cnh chart leaves the b an bn out but says 5 qts. for the a, which should be the same.

I don't know about a BN, but my A only takes about 3 PINTS so be careful. Don't overfill.

3 pints would be for each of the final drives. 5 quarts +/- is what the tranny requires.

guys, the transmission on the A, B, and BN are the same.........
