Installing cam gear on Super C -Timing question

OK - I"ve got the tractor split, and finally have removed the Cam Gear. It had stripped teeth.
Just dawned on me.
How do i make sure the timing is correct between the Cam Shaft and Crank Shaft - and i guess the Distributor Gear may have to be timed as well.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Is there a good manual for this?
(And, i sure hope the Crank pulley goes on easier than it came off)
Thanks - Bruce

You may need to heat the damper pulley in an oven
so you can it installed it. Hal

There are marks on all the gears, you may have to clean off the oil and or sludge to see them, but they are there. Line up two 'tick' marks with 'two' tick marks and one with one and your good to go.

The I@T does a great job has good pic of the timing gears all lined up pluss capacitied bearing clearence and so forth a good thing to have around as it covers everything you need to know.
