farmall c head on a farmall b

Going by the catalog I have it says no they use different heads. They say the C, Super A and super C and the 100 and one other are the same but the A/B are the same

By the gaskets a C & B will interchange. But the super c will not interchange with a B. From the pictures the head gaskets are differant.

Yes you can the C head you have mite have a little smaller combustion chamber making it a little higher compression. Go ahead it will work at least it has for me without any problems.

B = C-113 engine and the SC = C-123 engine. only difference is the size of the sleeves and pistons (plus water pump). there MIGHT be a slight difference in the head gaskets due to different sleeve size, but for all intents and purposes, they are the same bolt pattern and base block size. don't forget, the head gasket seals the top of the sleeves, but I don't think it should be that big of a deal.

should work.

Never mind the pics the change will work as i have done it. There are tons of bad info in parts books as over the years they just didnt keep up. Example the starters fro the A,B,BN are different from the C,SC,SA and so on. There are different gens and regs also.

The only difference is that the intake and exhaust ports are a little bigger.
You really wnat some extra power put a 140 head on it! Just make sure it only has 9 head bolts.
