It is what is left of a head bolt style heater. Originally you could plug a power cord into the top.

Might could. It had a regular threaded top and a
nut on it. I"ll google it and see if it comes up.

my camera card is bad , just happened when downloading pictures. You are right though. I can see the two leads going into the top. So now do I have to use it or replace it with a regular stud? ...thank you Tim
