I want to add live hydrolics to my H.Do i have to add 300 farmall timing gears also?

You need the Cam gear off a Super H, 300, 350 actually you dont 'needed' it but the H one is weaker and prone to breakage with the live pump. . Also the timing cover is needed.

I don't understand why the part # is the same on the cam gear on new parts portion of this website.

All the new cam gears being made are for the H though 350, the older H cam gear is been retired.

Is that new gear thicker so the cover needs to be deeper.

in order to bolt up the Super H - 350 hydraulic pump you need to have that style timing cover as well. The live pump will not bolt to the H timing Cover.

The gear is stonger not wider or thicker just heavier cast.
