Just a quick hello from Nova Scotia and to say I got a 1957 130 today, with a Woods belly mower. Hoping to learn lot's more about it :)

Lot's of knowledgeable folks here to answer any questions.
Be sure and get yourself some manuals if they did not come with the tractor.

Thanks! Got the original owners manual with it, plus the original manual for the mower. Haven't had time to go through them. Need to get a service manual though.
 
1 - We need pictures of the tractor :lol: You have to show it off!
2 - You can get a lot of the parts manuals online now at the CNH website. Some guys love it and some hate it. I am a lover.
 
Hi Roy. Glad to have you aboard.Cool to get the original manuals. I live on PEI and have a C and a 766 plus lots of Cub Cadets. Hope you enjoy your 130 as much as i enjoy my tractors. We want to see pictures please.Kent
 
Another one saved! I had my eye on that one, it looked like a nice tractor. You're probably not that far from me, maybe shoot me an email some time, I have a number of old Farmall's and am always willing to talk tractor. Sam

Thanks everybody! Sam, I will be sure to send you an email. Got lots to learn and am wanting to find some implements for it too. Me thinks the "A" series ones will fit, but not sure. Pics to come gang :)

Anything from a Super A through a 140 should fit with the exception of the one point hitch stuff unless you're lucky enough to have one and stuff from an A can sometimes be adapted to work. There's not a lot of it floating around so if you see something go for it. You might find you have to buy a tractor to get the implements some times. That said with a little ingenuity there is a lot of stuff that a fellow can make himself. Sam
